We’re the team behind Puerto Rico Abran los Ojos a podcast that’s all about Puerto Rico here and abroad. We’re passionate, quirky, and love exploring new ideas. Now, we’re looking for a talented co-host to join our crew!
Job Description:
As our new co-host, you’ll be responsible for:
– Brainstorming and researching episode topics
– Preparing engaging questions and discussion points
– Recording and editing episodes (don’t worry, we’ll teach you the ropes!)
– Collaborating with our team to create a cohesive and entertaining show
– Engaging with our audience on social media and beyond
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in podcasting, broadcasting, or a related field
– Excellent communication and interviewing skills
– Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing conversations
– Strong research and organizational skills
– Familiarity with audio editing software (or willingness to learn!)
– A passion for Puerto Rican history and a desire to share that with the world!
Nice to Have:
– Experience with social media management and content creation
– Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize podcast episodes
– Familiarity with podcast analytics and metrics
